About This Project
Churches continue to innovate and find solutions for affordable housing. A church once stood where St. Augustine Terrace in the Bronx now stands. This mixed-use multifamily building is helping homeless and low income people get off their feet, and will save money on energy bills for NYC’s Catholic Church, all while helping reduce carbon in our environment.
INTUS Arcade steel reinforced double pane polymer casement and hopper windows, and storefront assemblies compliment the modern building while providing superb energy efficiency and sound abatement. Varying in height from 6 to 12 stories, there is a total of 112 residential units across 119,280 SF.
The building participates in the NYSERDA Multifamily Performance Program (MPP), is a New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (NYC HPD) funded project, and therefore complies with the Enterprise Green Communities certification program.
