About This Project
Marriott’s new brand, Moxy Hotels, opened an ultra chic location in Washington D.C. and was immediately buzzing with guests and a busy scene at Bar Moxy which serves as the hotel bar and check-in point. INTUS commercial Arcade double pane steel reinforced polymer tilt windows offer superb sound abatement with sound ratings of STC45/OITC38. The busy K Street is right outside but guests wouldn’t know it when the windows are closed!
Guests also have access to views from D.C.’s first open air retractable rooftop (by OpenAire) which integrates beautifully with INTUS windows and window walls. There are 8 Moxy Hotels set to open in the U.S. to create a better experience for the millennial type of traveler who’s a minimalist but wants a bit of fun. Guests get a free drink, speedy WiFi, 42″ TV’s, fresh coffee (no instant), and there’s even Jenga!
